Where to Place Your Tulsi

Sunlight is non-negotiable

Tulsi needs a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. In India, this means an east or south-facing window, or an outdoor location that receives morning sun until at least noon. Without adequate sun:

  • Growth becomes leggy and weak
  • Leaves lose their aroma
  • The plant becomes prone to fungal issues
  • It will not recover from wilting quickly

Avoid afternoon shade traps
